- Find My enabled after enrollment in Jamf Now
- If Find My was enabled prior to enrollment, it must be disabled and reenabled to store the bypass code in Jamf Now.
- If a computer meets the requirements for Activation Lock Bypass, the bypass code is stored in its inventory record in Jamf Now.
- Bypass codes are entered in macOS Recovery Assistant.
- Select Recovery Assistant > Activate with MDM key and enter the code in the field provided.
- If this option is not present, select Erase Mac. After the erase process is completed, the option will appear in the Recovery Assistant menu.
- After the bypass code is entered and the Mac is unlocked, macOS will need to be reinstalled.
